The cottage
The Chalet "Alpidyll" is situated at 1'300 m within 10 minutes walking-distance from the village
of Wasserwendi, where the local shop offers a wide range of food and non-food items.
A big garden with pines and birchtrees allows privacy and is a paradise for children.
There is a unique view of the Wetterhorn, its neighbouring peaks and the glacier of Rosenlaui across the valley.

The cottage was built in 1934, and that makes it one if the first holiday-cottages on Hasliberg.
After an extensive renovation in 2001 it now offers a modern standard of living, without having lost the charm of its history. The six rooms on two floors (110 square meters) provide ample space for seven people.

The groundfloor includes a living-room, a dining-room, a big kitchen with a pantry and a balcony (steps leading to the garden). There is a bathroom (bath and shower) and a separate toilet.

The upstairs floor consists of three bedrooms (one with a balcony) with two beds each, a tiny room with an additional (camp-)bed, and a shower/toilet. A cot is provided.

Also available for use: telephone, internet-access, radio/tape/CD-player, washing-machine, garden furniture, parking space for one or two cars.

Not available: TV, dishwasher, microwave.

Besides the automatic oil-heating on the groundfloor there is a tiled wood-stove on the first floor.

The coordinates of the Chalet are: N 46.7498978, E 8.1920808 / 1273 m above sea level
